Candid chair by Note
Candid chair by Note

Candid is a compact dining chair designed by Note. Appearing light and bold at the same time,  Zilio A&C’s craftsmanship and expertise were integral to realising the structural challenges of this elegant piece of seating.

Available in natural and stained ash, the Candid chair stems from Note’s unfulfilled search for a straightforward chair for its interiors projects.True to the studio’s ‘if we can’t find it, we design it’ approach, Note created Candid as a versatile, materially honest chair for various environments, from restaurants to the home.

Arkad seating system by Note

Two years after the launch of Arkad seating collection in 2018, Zilio A&C and Note is consolidating the pouffe family with the launch of new pieces featuring low backrest. Like the existing Arkad seats, the new pieces are playful and graphic, inspired by the repetitive pattern of the classic arcade.

OC table by Mentsen
OC table by Mentsen

OC is a family of pedestal tables designed by Mentsen. Designed for hospitality market in mind, the OC is a system of centre column table with a clean round steel base, with the option of circular and rectangular table tops in various sizes and finishes. What characterises this table is its oversized, octagonal central column with gently fluted facets, a classical detailing beautifully crafted in solid ash. The table, with its clean modern outlines with a touch of grandeur,  provides calm and assured presence.

Mentsen did not actually reference the design from the classic Greek and Roman architecture, but simply from the exploration of working with laminating and joining the solid wood pieces, to give interesting shapes and to reveal different grain textures by angled cuts.

The OC table is also available at bar height, as well as a low table for lounge area.
